fished the mersey last night, got there early, about an hour before the high, big tide and strong hard to grip, used squid, mackerel, sand eel and even bluey, not to many out fishing about for 4 local's, weather was very good,no wind or rain considering the heavy down pour's we had all day, anyway fished till about 1.30am and to no avail, did'nt even get a knock, maybe it's a bit early for the mersey in my opinion? so after this blanking session we have decided to try wale's again on sunday, has anybody any suggestions on where is a good location??

Unlucky on the blank bud, but at least you got out.
There are a couple of good size Bass coming out from the Kinmel Bay area, might be worth a try.
Jimbo..
